About South Gloucestershire Liberal Democrats
South Gloucestershire Liberal Democrats represent the Liberal Democrats across the Unitary Authority. We cover the parliamentary constituencies of Filton and Bradley Stoke, Kingswood, and Thornbury and Yate.
Our team covers the urban area bordering Bristol, along the Severn Estuary and up to the towns of Thornbury and Yate. We are a diverse area, with councillors representing more rural areas, such as Charfield as well as others who represent more urban areas, such as Stoke Park and Cheswick.
We have a strong tradition of winning in the area and, until 2015, Thornbury and Yate had a Lib Dem MP. We have also led South Gloucestershire Council in the past and have been the main opposition in this term of office. The next elections are in 2023 and we plan to win across the area.
